The Gardeners of Crooked Billet's very own Heather Tomlinson and her crew of tireless gardeners took on the responsibility of cleaning up and replanting a neglected garden in Hatboro's Eaton Park on Moreland Rd this year. With the help of a few recruits she laid a new foundation, had the fence replaced and planted wonderful color-coded garden plots for children. In addition to the perennials, annuals, summer bulbs, climbing flowers and beautifully decorated birdhouses, if you look closer, you'll see a small red tricycle, yellow monkeys in a barrel and some wooden building blocks. The borough of Hatboro presented the gardeners with a Certificate of Appreciation and a plaque for the garden. |
